A meeting, under the chairmanship of Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President, International Islamic University (IIU) was held at Sharī‘ah Academy to discuss the matters relating to the future plans of the Academy.
The meeting chaired by Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, was also attended by Prof. Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani, Vice President (A&F), and Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Director-General, Sharī‘ah Academy. Senior faculty and staff of Sharī‘ah Academy including Prof. Dr. Abdul Haye Abro, Chairman, Department of Fatwa Studies, Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman, Chairman, Department of Training, Dr. Shamsul Haq, Chairman, Department of Research and Publication, Dr. Abdul Hameed, HoD, Department of Distant Learning, along with Mr. Hassan Shabbir, In-charge (A&F), Mr. Miftahuddin Khilji, Lecturer, Department of Training, Hafiz Ahmad Waqas, Department of Research and Publications, and Mr. Atiq Ahmad, Research Investigator were also present on the occasion.
Various issues relating to the future plans of Sharī‘ah Academy were discussed. H.E. the president vowed on the occasion to strengthen the bonds between the faculties and the constituent units of the University. Furthermore, plans to launch Master’s and Doctorate degree programs in the Academy were also reviewed.
The meeting concluded with the president’s (IIUI) assurance to solve the issues being faced by the officials of the Academy.
