Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President, International Islamic University (IIU) chaired a meeting of the admission committee here at the new campus in which matters pertaining to admission policy, duration of admission campaign, finalization of offered programs and test schedule were discussed.
The meeting was also attended by Vice President Academics Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice President A&F, Prof. Dr. N.B. Jumani, Vice President R&E, Prof Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Deans, Head of the Departments, Senior faculty members, Director Academics, Incharge Finance and other relevant officials.
The committee deliberated upon various important points and made decisions accordingly. The committee decided that the application fee amount shall remain same as per previous practice. The members also gave valuable feedback on the eligibility and merit criteria as well detailed application process was also discussed to make it simple and easy.
On the occasion, President IIUI lauded the efforts while saying that since it was the final stage before the dissemination of the admission campaign, few remaining steps must be taken with celerity and all relevant departments should finalize and review their disciplines’ programs. He urged the faculty and administration to make this admission campaign a user friendly, full of felicitation and a comprehensive one. He added that students are the top priority and there should not be any ambiguity in the admission process, it must be simple and the applying candidates must be guided as much as they can be. IIUI President also called for hard work and dedication saying that merit is the top priority across the university, while talented human resource would be encouraged to further excel.
