The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) is participating in the Global Higher Education Exhibition (GHEDEX) 2025, being held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Muscat, from April 7 to 10.
Dr. Rukhsana Tariq, Students’ Advisor (Female Campus), is representing IIUI in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the Embassy of Pakistan in Oman.
The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated by Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman, Syed Naveed Safdar Bukhari. He acknowledged the participation of IIUI and HEC in the event and emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation in higher education between Pakistan and Oman.
Visitors from educational institutions and the general public attended the pavilion. Dr. Rukhsana briefed them about IIUI’s academic programs, campus structure, and research opportunities. Students showed interest in the university’s separate campuses for male and female students and the available academic options.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Muscat facilitated the country’s participation in GHEDEX 2025. The initiative aims to promote academic collaboration between institutions of both countries and to inform Omani students about opportunities for higher education in Pakistan.
