The Faculty of Shariah and Law at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), in collaboration with the Dawah Centre for Women of the Dawah Academy, organised a seminar titled “Spiritual Reforms During Ramadhan” to highlight the significance of self-accountability, moral discipline and spiritual development during the holy month. The seminar brought together faculty members, students and scholars who discussed various dimensions of spiritual reform, including strengthening faith, improving personal conduct and promoting social responsibility. Speakers emphasised that Ramadhan serves as a comprehensive training period for believers, enabling them to cultivate patience, sincerity and adherence to Islamic teachings in both individual and collective spheres of life. The participants were encouraged to utilise the month for reflection, repentance and renewed commitment to ethical values. The speakers also underscored the importance of extending the spirit of Ramadhan beyond the month by adopting consistent habits of worship, compassion and community service. The initiative reflects IIUI’s continued focus on character building and intellectual growth in line with the vision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), who has been striving to promote academic excellence coupled with moral and spiritual development across the university. The event concluded with an interactive session in which students shared their views and sought guidance on practical ways to implement spiritual reforms in their daily lives.Spiritual Reforms During Ramadhan Seminar Held at IIUI The Faculty of Shariah and Law at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), in collaboration with the Dawah Centre for Women of the Dawah Academy, organised a seminar titled “Spiritual Reforms During Ramadhan” to highlight the significance of self-accountability, moral discipline and spiritual development during the holy month.
