

The Supreme Student Advisory Council of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), in collaboration with the Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSL), has launched a comprehensive Ramadan Outreach Program in the university’s student hostels. The initiative aims to promote Islamic values and foster a spiritually enriching environment during the holy month of Ramadan.
The program will be held at the Omar Al-Farooq Mosque (RA) located within Hostels 1, 2, 3, and 4. It will feature a series of lectures, scholarly discussions, and guidance sessions delivered by distinguished faculty members. The sessions will focus on key themes including preparation for Ramadan, repentance, sincerity, self-purification, and the transformative role of the Holy Qur’an in a Muslim’s life.
The inaugural introductory session and initial awareness talk were addressed by the Dean, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Prof. Dr. Raed bin Khalaf Alosaimi, and the Chairperson, Department of Shariah, FSL, Prof. Dr. Ali Khodran M. Alomari, who highlighted the spiritual significance of Ramadan and emphasized the importance of moral and character development among students.
The university administration reiterated that such initiatives reflect IIUI’s continued commitment to nurturing students academically and morally, in line with the principles of moderation and balance. Hostel residents have been encouraged to actively participate and benefit from these blessed Ramadan programs.
