IIUI: INDONESIAN STUDENTS ORGANIZE ISCIP

Indonesian students of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized “Indonesian Students Conference in Pakistan-ISCIP” at Allama Iqbal Auditorium, Faisal Masjid Campus. Dr. Suyudhi Amri, Ambassador of Republic of Indonesia to Pakistan was the Chief Guest of the program who also called on Dr. Masoom Yasinzai Rector International Islamic University, Islamabad at his office and discussed the matters of mutual educational interest.

Dr. Suyudhi Amri while addressing the students appreciated the role of IIUI in providing quality education to multi-lingual and multi-cultural students from different corners of the world. He said that graduates of IIUI in Indonesia are playing significant role in the development of the country. Indonesian Envoy appraised the role of IIUI for disseminating the national narrative “Paigham-e-Pakistan” across the globe.

Dr. Muhammad Masoom Yasinzai, Rector IIUI addressing  the conference participants said that youth can bring nations to new heights. He portrayed the success story of Singapore by utilizing its limited resources. Dr. Masoom wished Indonesian students to get excellence in their academic career and join their country as an ambassador of IIUI. He appreciated and congratulated Indonesian Students for organizing Conference at this forum and assured full cooperation for providing best facilities to the foreign students studying at campus.

During his speech he said that Islam is an enlightened religion where there is no extremism and terrorism while he said that Islam is a religion of peace and harmony where there is no philosophy of hatred. He motivated students to prepare themselves with knowledge and action for taking the future responsibilities. Dr. Masoom also appreciated that a number of Indonesian students who graduated from IIUI are now playing their active roles in educational and other institutions of Indonesia as well as in other countries. He added that Pakistan wants further expansion and deepening of relations with all Islamic countries.

Speakers of the conference, Dr. Anis Malik Thoha and Dr. Nirwan Syafrin during detailed sessions interacted with the students and motivated them to remain consistent to achieve excellence in all disciplines of life and after graduating from the university become the ambassador of this university wherever they serve across the globe. They urged students to utilize the latest technology for seeking and disseminating information among each other so that students remain updated with the latest trends of educational research and technology.

Indonesian Students organized the conference with an objective to achieve excellence in academic disciplines and motivate students to participate in extracurricular activities during the study period at campus. Male and Female students of Indonesia enthralled audience with their performance at stage.
