
International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), through the Directorate of Student Affairs (Female), organized an orientation session for newly admitted female students of Spring 2026. The purpose of the session was to familiarize new students with the university’s academic system, policies, co-curricular opportunities, and student support services, while helping them feel welcomed into the IIUI community.
As part of the orientation activities, students visited the Gymnasium (Female Campus) for an introduction to sports and physical fitness facilities available at the university. The visit aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage student participation in sports and fitness activities alongside academic pursuits.
During the session, Ms. Zara Shah introduced the students to the basic gym facilities. She provided an overview of available fitness equipment, explained their proper use, and highlighted the importance of physical fitness for overall well-being and stress management during university life.
Following this, Ms. Sana Gul, Assistant Sports Officer, briefed the students about the Gymnasium (Female Campus). She explained the range of sports facilities available, including indoor games and fitness activities, and informed students about participation opportunities, gym rules, and the role of sports in personality development and teamwork. She encouraged students to actively engage in sports activities to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
Ms. Ayesha Rashid, Fitness Instructor, explained the fitness gym activities and guided students about the registration process.
The orientation session and gym visit concluded with a guided tour of the facilities, allowing students to observe and better understand the resources available to them. This initiative reaffirmed IIUI’s commitment to providing a supportive, inclusive, and enriching learning environment that focuses on both academic excellence and physical well-being.
