
The Department of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Usuluddin, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), organized the Hadith Skills Program under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President of the University. The program, conducted over several weeks, aimed to enhance the academic and research skills of students and scholars in the field of Hadith studies.
A concluding ceremony was held in the male students’ section to mark the completion of the program, attended by distinguished faculty members, scholars, and students from within and outside the university. The event served to acknowledge the efforts of participating professors and students who contributed to the program’s success.
Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Awaji, Head of the Department of Hadith and its Sciences, opened the ceremony by expressing gratitude to Allah Almighty and extended thanks to the University President for his continued support of academic initiatives. He highlighted the department’s commitment to advancing scholarly activities in the field of Hadith.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim bin Isa Al-Ruhaili, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Usuluddin, commended the academic achievements of the department and thanked the University President for encouraging such scholarly programs that promote intellectual engagement among students.

In his concluding address, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed appreciated the Faculty of Usuluddin and the Department of Hadith and its Sciences for organizing a constructive academic activity. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the pure Islamic creed in both belief and practice, affirming that sincerity in faith and action is the foundation for the acceptance of deeds.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation among the participants. On this occasion, the Head of the Department of Hadith and its Sciences presented a commemorative gift to the University President in recognition of his patronage and support.
