Professor Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector International Islamic University Islamabad and President of the University, Dr. Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh condoled the death of renowned scholar Maulana Abdul Aziz Hanif, father of Dr. Aziz ur Rehman, legal advisor to the President IIUI. They paid rich tributes to Late Maulana for his religious contributions spread over 50 years.
Meanwhile, a joint condolence reference was organized by teachers & employees of the university where Mahmood ur Rehman, President Officers Welfare Association (OWA), former OWA president Rana Asghar Ali Shahid, Muhammad Tariq, president University staff welfare association (USWA) and Syed Muzammil Hussain, Additional Director public relations also remembered the religious services of Maulana Abdul Aziz Hanif and termed his services vital for the unity in society. Dr. Aziz ur Rehman was also present on the occasion who vowed to continue mission of his father i-e unity among Muslims.
Employees and their relatives of the university who died recently were also remembered during the joint reference and Fateha was offered for the departed souls.
