The Directorate of Student Affairs (Female) at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a series of orientation sessions for newly admitted students to familiarize them with the university’s academic framework, policies, and campus life.
The sessions were held on various dates for different faculties. The Faculty of Economics had its session on February 13, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Sciences conducted theirs on February 14, 2025, while the Faculty of Management Sciences held its session on February 17, 2025.
The orientations began with a presentation on IIUI’s mission and vision, outlining its core values and objectives. Dr. Rukhsana Tariq, Director of Student Affairs, welcomed the students and provided an overview of the academic structure, key programs, and available support services. She briefed students on university policies, including the student code of conduct, campus regulations, and the schedule for Spring 2025 activities. She also addressed student concerns and provided guidance on academic matters.
Representatives from the Students’ Advisor Office, Fee Section, Admission Section, Medical Center, Sports Office, Student Facilitation Center, Youth Development Center, and Library delivered presentations. Each department introduced its faculty and emphasized the importance of upholding university values.
Dr. Rukhsana Tariq assured students of continuous support from the advisory team and expressed confidence in their academic growth at IIUI. The Directorate of Student Affairs (Female) appreciated the participation of faculty and students in these sessions and looks forward to supporting students in their academic journey.
