The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan, under the leadership of Ambassador H.E. Mr. Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malkiy, hosted a grand reception at the Convention Center to mark the National Day of Saudi Arabia. The event brought together distinguished guests, diplomats, and notable figures from Islamabad in a spirit of joy and celebration.
A large delegation from the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) attended the ceremony, led by President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmad. He was accompanied by Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed (Research & Enterprise), Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman (Administration & Finance), In-Charge Female Campus Dr. Amna Mehmood, as well as Directors General, Directors, Deans and representatives from all major units of the University.
The participation of IIUI’s leadership highlighted the University’s close ties with the Kingdom and underscored the enduring strength of Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations. The event showcased a resplendent cultural array that flagged the cultural richness of both countries while highlighting the historical importance of the Day and the resolve to ensure increased strength in the people-to-people relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
