Islamabad – The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) convened its 102nd Selection Board meeting at the Faisal Masjid Campus, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed.
The meeting was attended by esteemed external and internal members, including Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer, Judge, Federal Shariat Court; Prof. Dr. Ghulam Raza Bhatti, nominee of the Chairman, Higher Education Commission (HEC); Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza (Pride of Performance, T.I.), Vice Chancellor, Fatima Jinnah Women University; and Prof. Dr. Sadia Nadeem, Dean and Head of School (MS), FAST School of Management. IIUI was represented by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President (Research & Enterprise); Prof. Dr. Rehmat Elahi, Director QAD; along with other senior university officials.
The Board conducted interviews for academic positions across several departments, including Education, Psychology, Pakistan Studies, History, Sociology, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Hadith & Its Sciences.
President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed expressed his appreciation for the valuable contributions of all Board members, noting that their insight and participation reflect IIUI’s steadfast commitment to merit, transparency, and academic excellence. He also flagged the significance of such forums in furthering the university’s vision of providing equitable and merit-based opportunities for institutional growth and faculty development.
