
A meeting was held at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) to initiate the implementation and oversight of the hostel renovation project under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between IIUI and the Capital Building Maintenance Corporation (CBMC). The project involves the renovation and repair of Hostels 1 to 6 at the university’s New Campus.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President (Administration and Finance), and attended by Dr. Inam ul Haq, Director Administration and Works; Dr. Ibrar Shinwari, Provost (Male); Dr. Ghufran Ahmed, Student Advisor (Male); Deputy Directors (Civil and Electrical); Assistant Director (Academics and Examinations); and Assistant Director (Provost Office).
Participants discussed the operational plan, coordination mechanisms, and monitoring procedures for the renovation work. It was informed that, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the project will soon commence to upgrade and modernize hostel facilities for students.
The meeting approved the formation of an Inspection Committee and a Supervisory Committee to ensure effective coordination, quality assurance, and timely completion of the renovation project.
