The Anti-Harassment Committee of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) convened a meeting to review and address complaints of harassment in accordance with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines and IIUI’s Anti-Harassment Policy. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Akram, Director General, Sharia Academy, and attended by Mr. Mohammad Ramzan Khan (Member) and Mr. Atiqur Rahman Chughtai, Secretary of the Committee.
The Committee emphasized transparent, fair, and equitable handling of all cases, while ensuring due process and confidentiality. Reaffirming the University’s zero-tolerance stance against harassment, the Committee stressed the importance of fostering a safe, respectful, and dignified academic and professional environment and preventing the recurrence of any form of toxic behavior within the university.
