International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has moved into the active implementation phase of its hostel renovation project, initiated under the vision and directives of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President IIUI, with a strong focus on improving student living facilities while ensuring minimal disruption to academic activities. These renovations are being supported by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a gift for the students of International Islamic University Islamabad.
The renovation project includes comprehensive internal refurbishment of hostel facilities, including washrooms and shared spaces. In line with a phased and well-managed execution plan, the vacation of premises for one hostel is currently underway to facilitate uninterrupted renovation work. This process is being carried out in close coordination with the relevant offices to ensure that student concerns are addressed sensitively and responsibly.
Acting on student requests and keeping in view the ongoing examinations, the President directed that full-scale renovation work should commence immediately after the conclusion of exams in order to avoid academic disruption. As an interim measure, selective painting and improvement works were carried out to enhance the immediate living environment for students.
Regular inspection of material samples, verification of specifications, and completion of approval processes are being carried out to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
The initiative reflects the President’s continued commitment to student welfare and to improving campus infrastructure through careful planning, transparent processes, and collaborative execution.
IIUI mission is to transform the society by promoting education, training, research, technology, and collaboration for reconstruction of human thought in all its forms on the foundations of Islam.
