The Rector, and President of the International Islamic University (IIU) have wished the International Students Day to the students community.
The theme of International Students Day 2021 is “Learning for people, planet, prosperity and peace”. In their messages both Rector and President have called upon the students to disseminate peace and be a valuable source of stability and equality on the planet.
Professor Dr. Masoom Yasinzai in his message, wished the international Students day adding that IIU is a unique hub of learning where a large number of nations and cultures are represented by more than 30 thousand students. He advised the students to keep practicing true values of Islam and hoped that IIU students would also keep discouraging discrimination and hatred.
President IIUI, Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, in his message said “Warm wishes on International Students Day. Keep working hard and you will reach where you wish to be.” He said that I assure IIUI students that they will be provided with the best facilities on campus. I would advise you to remain committed to your studies, he continued. He said IIU management is striving to make the university one of the most ideal learning places across the world and hoped that it will shine soon by making its place among the best institutions of academic excellence.
