The President of the International Islamic University in Islamabad (IIUI) Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh called on Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait, Mr. Farid Amadi, in his office.
The meeting was part of efforts of IIUI President by meeting with philanthropists, the heads of charitable and humanitarian organizations, the international bodies, the members of the university’s board of trustees, businessmen and dignitaries for the progress and promotion of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI).
Both sides discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of education and said that there were ample opportunities to collaborate and find ways for the promotion of education and dissemination of message of Islam.
IIUI President thanked Mr. Farid Emadi for the warm welcome and praised the role of the ministry in various humanitarian, charitable, educational, awareness and other fields. He also briefed him on the Islamic University, its most important achievements, and future goals.
The two sides discussed means of supporting the university and assisting it in some of its projects in accordance with the regular procedures in both countries as well.
At the end of the meeting, IIUI President presented publications, bulletins and brochures.
The Deputy Secretary of the Ministry praised Dr. Al-Draiweesh for his efforts and assured of maximum support.
