IIU PRESIDENT CHAIRS MEETING ON UNDER-CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), on Tuesday, chaired a meeting regarding construction sites at new campus where he was briefed about the progress and time frame of the projects.

The meeting was also attended by Professor Dr. N.B. Jumani, Vice President (A&F), officers of Project and planning and the contractors. The IIU President emphasized that it must be ensured that all the construction projects shall be completed within the given deadline.

H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud inquired about all the under-construction projects including engineering block, medical block, library block, block for social sciences, management sciences and shared block near the  car parking to meet the infrastructural needs of the university.

IIU President directed the contractors, resident engineers and relevant university officers that work on the expansion and up-gradation projects at campus must be expedited while quality must not be compromised as well. He said the new blocks will cater the infrastructural needs of the university faculties. He added that expansion  of blocks of the library and medical centre will be valuable additions. Worthy President said that shared blocks shall also help in catering the needs of laboratory facilities.
