Graduation Ceremony of IRI Training Programs Held at Faisal Masjid Campus

The Islamic Research Institute (IRI) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized the graduation ceremony of its training programs at the Allama Iqbal Auditorium, Faisal Masjid Campus.

The ceremony marked the completion of the IRI International Postdoctoral Fellowship, along with postgraduate, undergraduate, and gender-based violence training programs. The event opened with the National Anthem, followed by recitation of the Holy Quran by Dr. Qaria Nasreen Akhtar and Naat by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ferozuddin Shah Khagga.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Director General IRI, presented the institutional report and addressed the participants. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Shuja Syed, President IIUI, distributed certificates and delivered the presidential address.

Lt. Gen Abdul Qayyum (Retd.), former Senator and Chairman Pakistan Steel Mills, attended as Chief Guest.

Guests of Honour included Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Bouazizi (President, Ez-Zitouna University), Dr. Justice Syed Muhammad Anwer (Federal Shariat Court), Barrister Ahmar Bilal Sofi, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Mansoori.

Souvenirs and awards were distributed. The IRI Award for Service to State and Society was presented to Prof. Dr. Bouazizi, Lt. Gen. Abdul Qayyum, and Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad (Chairman HEC). The Writers Award was presented to contributors of IRI’s academic initiatives.
