On the Independence Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at Female Hostels of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) where Provost Female Hostel, Dr. Humaira Ishfaq hoisted the Pakistani flag. The day at hostels, commenced with Quran Khawani and special prayers for the prosperity and unity of the country.
on this occasion , Provost female hostels stressed upon unity of nation and urged to promote harmony, peace, and Justice. She paid tribute to the father of the nation for his great effort in the establishment of Pakistan. She further added that today we have forgotten the purpose behind the creation of Pakistan; we need to realize the true meaning of Pakistan and should not divide ourselves into provinces, ethnicities and political parties. “We have got this country after tireless efforts and we as a nation are strong and charitable people in the world” Dr. Humaira maintained. At the end, she wished Independence Day to all students and advised them to work wholeheartedly for the country’s progress and development.
