About Department of Shari‘ah
Faculty of Shariah & Law, International Islamic University Islamabad is a successful educational project and it is one of the most prominent academic institutions in Pakistan due to its unique Islamic and legal diversely position. The department is offering different bachelor, master and Ph.D. Programmes. The department is also planning to expand its academic operations to introduce new specializations. The objective is to develop the requisite human resource which can help in uplifting the overall condition of Muslim Ummah through bridging gaps between theory and practice. This department is one of the prominent departments focuses on the enhancement of Islamic sciences with various specializations. It is playing a very vital role in spreading knowledge particularly towards law, Shariah and Judiciary. It is a center of learning to provide Islamic and legal education with emphasis on Islamic law and to develop greater interaction in understanding the contemporary issues in the light of Shariah.
