Moinuddin Aqeel

Some main features:

Possesses a remarkable prominence of being among the most eminent scholars and writers of Urdu literature, history and culture of the Muslims of South Asia and considered widely as an invaluable academic asset.

Holds D.Litt. and Ph.D. Awards and a distinguished academic record and citations. These unique qualities earned to be recognized at least by appointments as Visiting Professor and Visiting Fellow at renowned foreign universities (Naples, Tokyo, Saitama, Osaka and Kyoto). A prolific scholar and researcher, traveled vastly almost all major countries and visited important institutions, libraries and scholars, and has authored, edited and compiled 45 books, and hundreds of learned papers and articles in internationally reputed journals, encyclopedias and scholarly compendiums.

Being a prominent and respected Professor with a highest academic achievements and a devoted administrator in academic and educational fields, and associated with several universities, institutions and learned bodies, as well as with research journals, as a member or advisor, enjoying a respect and celebrity.

Apart from these,

(2)    Published a number of research papers, articles and chapters in prominent International research journals and magazines of world repute in Urdu and in English languages on language, literature, education and socio-cultural topics, related with south Asia.

(3)    Designing and supervising several research projects dealing with Language, literature and socio-cultural topics in University of Karachi and other universities.

(4)    Evaluating Ph.D. and M.Phil dissertations of several universities of home country and abroad.

(5)    Holds and maintain a highly valuable collection, a Personal Library, consists of books, periodicals, manuscripts and archival material on the areas of personal interest, amount to over 30,000 items.
