E-MUSTAQBIL: SHAPING THE FUTURE OF E-COMMERCE AND DIGITAL INNOVATION AT IIUI

The Department of Computer Science (DCS) at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), in collaboration with the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA), successfully hosted a one-day conference titled “E-Mustaqbil.” The event was organized by the Computer Science Society (CSS) and Connected Pakistan.
Dr. Ghufran Ahmad, Students Advisor, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the future potential of e-commerce. Dr. Muhammad Nadeem, Chairman of the DCS, welcomed the participants, urging students and industry experts to focus on hard work for success. A special video message from Dr. Zaheer Aziz, a senior alumnus and ex-faculty member of the DCS, reinforced the importance of dignity and selflessness in their professional journey.
A panel discussion featuring successful alumni explored the future of computing education.
The event was supervised by Muhammad Imran Saeed, Assistant Professor of DCS, who extended heartfelt thanks to ORIC, DSA, the speakers, alumni, and the audience. Special recognition was given to the efforts of young faculty members, including Jahanzeb Ali Khan Niazi and Abid Jameel. The event concluded with the distribution of shields as a gesture of appreciation.
