On the directions of H.E. Dr. Hathal hamoud Alotaibi, Worthy President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), a review meeting was held here in the council hall, admin block under the supervision of the Prof. Dr. Samina Malik, Vice President Female Campus (FC) to organize the university’s mega event “IIUI EXTRAVAGANZA-2022” for students which is commencing from 1st week of December, 2022.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice President (Academics) and Prof. Dr. N.B. Jumani, Vice President (A&F), IIUI. Mr. Abdullah Jazi Aldossari, Director (Liaison), President Office, Dr. Rizwan Aftab, Students’ Advisor (male), Dr. Sumayya Chughtai, Students’ Advisor (Female), Mr. Al Hassan, Assistant Director (P&PR), chairpersons of the sub committees and members of the constituted committees were also present in the review meeting.
During the meeting Prof. Dr. Samina said that the event is being arranged for all the national and international students of the university where they will be provided equal opportunities to participate in different co-crueler activities so that they can showcase their talents using this platform.
On this occasion, Dr. Samina reviewed the feedback on given tasks for organizing the “IIUI Extravaganza-2022”, from all the chairpersons of sub-committees and directed to make the event successful, all constituted committees will look the affairs related to the events on priority basis and remain in touch with the steering committee constituted by the Worthy President, IIUI, for all kind of immediate assistance on hourly and daily basis.
Prof. Dr. N.B. Juman, Vice President (A&F) and Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice President (Academics) also shared valuable input during the meeting to make the event successful, and ensured full support in all kind of matters related to the execution plan of the mega event of the university.
Dr. Samina showed satisfaction over the ongoing performance and hard work by the officials and hoped this mega event will be an enthralling activity at campus to make the image of the university at national but also at international level. V.P. (FC) also reviewed the measures for preparation of IIUI mega event and in this regard discussed in detail various outcomes of the meetings on sponsoring, food & books stalls. On this occasion she also reviewed the feedback from chairpersons of the sub committees regarding various activates of the event including grand mushaira, Arabic Literary festival, English declamation and Essay Writing Competitions, husn e Qirat and Naat competitions, art competitions and art exhibitions, sports gala-2022, flowers exhibition, printing and publicity of the event and other important matters of the mega event.
