Educational Institutions across the globe are a strong base for training of youth, said Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President IIUI.
IIUI President was addressing a ceremony held in connection with 10 years celebrations of setting up of IIUI Schools across the country at Allama Iqbal Auditorium, Faisal Masjid Campus.
He stressed for an enabling environment for youth to become a productive member of the society. He added that educational institutions are hub of academic and professional training and those are of vital importance in this regard.
Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President IIUI urged for promoting critical thinking in schools. He said schools must provide a milieu that should contain promotion of Islamic values.
He felicitated the management of Institute of Professional Development (IPD), Principals and teachers of IIUI Schools during a ceremony organized by IPD on this occasion. He furthered that knowledge is the ultimate solution to the contemporary problems.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Vice President (Academics), Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Vice President, Female Campus, Dean Faculty of Usuluddin, Prof. Dr. Haroon Ur Rasheed also spoke on the occasion.
Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh also acknowledged dedication, efforts, hard work and professional leadership of the pioneer members of IPD/IIUI Schools namely Dr. Saeed ul Hasan Chishti and Ms Saneeha Khalid. President IIUI praised Dr. Chishti’s role for setting up and making IIUI Schools a success. President IIUI urged the management of IIUI Schools to provide the best possible facilities and education to the students. He instructed the schools to place special focus on teaching of Quran and Sunnah. He emphasized that these schools should help to bring harmony in society and eradicate extremism. He also wished that the student from IIUI Schools must be able to lead Ummah in the coming years.
Earlier, Dr. Munazza, Director IPD, IIUI in her speech thanked IIUI management for continuous support and vowed that this school chain would be taken to the highest levels of education. Ms. Saneeha Khalid, Training Management Specialist, IPD and Kashf Sohail MaliK, Consultant/Master Trainer, IPD also spoke on the occasion.
Directors and heads of schools/principals from IIUI Schools across Pakistan also attended the event
On this occasion schools made presentations to show how IIUI and IPD vision is being implemented. Activities and projects regarding Understand Quran Course, Seerah Studies, Entrepreneurship, Robotics, Citizenship and IIUI Schools Student Parliament and Canton System were greatly appreciated.
At the end, IIUI President prayed for prosperity of IIUI and Muslim world.
