DR. ALI METAB ALAHMARI VISITS MEDICAL CENTRE ON DIRECTIONS OF PRESIDENT IIUI

On the directions of Worthy President, International Islamic University (IIU), Director of the President’s Office, Dr. Ali Metab Alahmari, visited the new medical centre at the male campus.
The new medical centre building is part of the infrastructural reforms of the President IIU, H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi initiated in the light of the new strategic plan of the university.

Dr. Ali conveyed that the President IIUI has directed that high priority based medical facilities must be provided to the university students. On the occasion, Principal Medical Officer, Dr Khalil-ur-Rehman and Incharge Dr Wakeel Hussain accompanied him during the visit.

The medical officials apprised about the operationalization, utilization of the new facilities and overall performance.

They also explained about the services in the new building, availability of the facilities including labs, available beds and per day visits of the patients. They apprised that 4 beds have been dedicated for the emergency. They told that the demand for the X-ray machines, ECG equipment and other radiology related gadgets has already been submitted and the centre will be furnished with these facilities in the near future. Dr. Ali conveyed that the President IIUI has desired that high priority facilitation of the students must be the core objective and he is keen about provision of best medical facilities to the students.
