Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) visited hostels at male campus on Thursday.
He reviewed the scrutiny process for hostel entrance and directed that extreme vigilance be observed in this regard so that no irrelevant element be allowed to enter.
He also issued directions to hostels administration to provide maximum facilitation to hostel students who have legitimate and original hostel cards.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al Draiweesh participated in Quran Khwani where he prayed for the student who died in the recent unfortunate incident. He said university is engulfed with grief as it lost its son.
Speaking on the occasion, President IIUI said that Islamic University is focusing for promotion of peace and harmony. He added that peaceful environment of IIUI is top priority and any mal activity to sabotage peace will not be tolerated.
