The Directorate of Students Affairs at IIUI and Chief Security Office at IIU arranged a lecture on the topic “Criminality, Extremism and Narcotics” at faculty block auditoriums of male and female campuses separately. The awareness lecture to students, employees and teachers was delivered by Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari, Capital Police Officer (CPO) / DIG (Operations), Islamabad.
Addressing the participants and students at IIU, Syed Shahzad Nadeem said we have launched special awareness campaign to keep the youth free from the scourge of drugs. He added that it is our prime responsibility to safeguard our youth from the immense damages of drug use, especially at our educational institutions where we are nurturing the foundations of the future.
According to details, the awareness lectures are being carried out under the special directions of CCPO, Islamabad. The awareness lecture was attended by IIUI Security Consultant, Brigadier (Retired) Muhamamd Saleem Khan, IIUI Students Advisors (Male & Female). It was also attended by a large number of faculty members, male and female students and university employees at New Campus.
