DEPT. OF ARABIC HOLDS ORIENTATION SESSION AT FG COLLEGES FOR WOMEN

The Department of Arabic (Female Campus) of the  International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) conducted an orientation session on Arabic Language and Faculty of Arabic at IIUI among female students  at FG College for Women, F7/2 and IMCG, I-8, Islamabad.

Dr. Aliya Akram, Chairperson, Faculty of Arabic, Female Campus, IIUI briefed the students about the faculty, its departments and programs .

During orientation sessions Dr. Aliya Akram also shared the purpose of conducting these sessions in Federal Government Educational Institutions and said that Faculty of Arabic intends to introduce Arabic Language techniques to the students of different educational institutions as per latest skills and techniques of language learning so that after completion of college studies they can comfortable join the Faculty of Arabic at University level.

She also highlighted the significance of Arabic Language techniques and explained the depth of Arabic words through Qur’anic Verses among session participants.

During orientation sessions at colleges, Prof. Dr. Sausan Hassanein Ahmed Hassanein Elhodhod (Jamia tul Azhar, from Egypt elaborated the phonetic of the Arabic alphabet through Qur’anic examples, and explained its effects on the meaning through changing of a letter.

Dr. Fouzia Mir Taj during her lecture elaborated the effects of Arabic Grammar and added using Qur’anic examples that the Arabic language has the unique position due to its grammar.
