The Department of Biological Sciences organized one-day seminar on Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Auditorium of Fatima Block at Female Campus.
The aim of the seminar was to make students aware of the importance of research and innovation in the context of entrepreneurship and its relevance to Sustainable Developmental Goals.
The seminar was organized by Dr. Madeeha Chaudhry and Dr. Hafiza Fizzah Riaz, Assistant Professors under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Irfan khan, Chairman, Department of Biological Sciences and Dean FBAS who also gave inaugural address of the seminar.
He alienated the importance of Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship in development of knowledge economy. He also emphasized the organization of such healthy activities by the Department for the professional grooming of students.
Three speakers invited for the seminar were all good research scientists and successful entrepreneurs in their respective fields that included Dr. Ibrar Ahmed, CEO Alpha genomics, Dr. Bushra Jamil, CEO BJ Microlab and Dr. Khuram Saleem Joya CEO Institute of New Horizon. Speakers shared their journey with students and had fruitful discussion with the students. At the Prof. Dr. Samina Malik, Vice President, Female Campus concluded the Seminar and gave shields to all guests speakers.
