Department of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology (DBI&BT), IIUI (Male) organized a workshop on “Research Paper Writing and Publishing” at Lincoln Corner, Central Library, at new campus.
The workshop was continuation of a series of co-curricular activities arranged by Pakistan Biotechnology Students Society (PBSS) under the supervision of Dr. Bashir Ahmad, Chairman PBSS.
The subject expert on topic, Dr. Yasir Waheed gave a very skilled hands on training aiming ‘art of writing a paper, selection of a journal, and publishing methods’ to the PhD and MPhil research students along with their respective supervisors. A considerable number of grad students participated and rated it as a rare opportunity of unique mode of learning they witnessed during this training.
Many of the faculty members including Professor Dr. Zafar Mehmood Khalid, Dr. Jabar Zaman Khan Khattak, Dr. Bashir Ahmad, Dr. Syed Ali Imran Bokhari, Dr. Arshad Malik, Dr. Asad Ghufran, Dr. Sumbul Khalid and Dr. Shaheen Shahzad actively joined the activity.
