Commercial Testing at IIUI Laboratories
In line with the IIUI’s Strategic Plan (2022-26), the Office of the Vice President (Research & Enterprise) has been pivotal in taking a number of initiatives and policy formulations. IIUI Consultancy Policy and ToRs/SoPs for Commercial Testing at IIUI Laboratories are also among them. ORIC is facilitating the process from both the ends: the service providers as well as the potential users.
Centre for Advanced Electronics & Photovoltaic Engineering (CAEPE): For a range of TCAD Design, Characterization and Analysis (Electrical, Semiconductor, Optical/Electro-Optical, Structural and Morphological, Magnetic, Imaging, Photovoltaic Analysis etc.), and a variety of Materials and Device Processing including the ISO-5 Clean Room fabrication. CAEPE is also part of HEC’s ASIP and PCSIR’s programs.

Faculty of Engineering & Technology: For a range of testing services in the laboratories of concrete, soil & foundation, strength of materials, transportation, CAED & Simulations, Control & electrical machines, Machine shop, Mechanics of Materials, Wind Tunnel etc.

Faculty of Science: For a range of testing in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology Labs as well as Laboratories in the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences (CIRBS) for UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, Fluorescent Microscopy, PCR, GCMS, Fluorometer, Nanodrop, ICPMS and variety of oven and refrigeration support services.
