Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) in a meeting with Chinese students has said that all foreign students including Chinese studying at campus are healthy and studying in their classes efficiently. Dr. Draiweesh added that following the government instructions awareness campaigns with required SOPs basic principles of safety and precautionary measures has been taken by the management in this regard.
On this occasion, President IIUI expressed sympathies to the Chinese families who have lost valuable lives to this most awful outbreak of corona virus and this is the hour to stand firm with Chines friends and brothers and people of Pakistan are standing in solidarity with the people of China.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh said that IIUI has a distinctive place among educational institutions. He added that university is keen to provide healthy environment. He told that medical Officials, during a meeting with university management, have been directed to stay alert for any untoward situation. He prayed that may Allah protect all countries amid this outbreak.
