Career Counselling Centre, Psychology Scholars Organize Self-Discovery Session at IIUI Female Campus

The Career Counselling Centre, in collaboration with PhD scholars from the Department of Psychology, Female Campus, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), conducted a session titled “Unlock Insight: Path to Self-Discovery and Success.”

 

Held at the Female Campus, the activity aimed to equip students with psychological tools for personal growth and career planning. The session included interactive workshops, self-assessment exercises, and discussions led by doctoral scholars.

 

Participants engaged with concepts such as emotional intelligence, goal-setting, and self-awareness through practical activities. The session emphasized aligning personal values with academic and professional objectives.

 

Prof. Dr. Manzoor Khan Afridi, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, appreciated the initiative. Dr. Mazhar Iqbal Bhatti, In-charge Department of Psychology, noted the importance of such events in helping students make informed life choices.

Dr. Maimoona Ismail Loona, the organizer, expressed hope that such efforts would continue, supporting IIUI’s mission of fostering purposeful and confident graduates.
