The Career Counseling Center Female Campus organized Seminar titled “How to Build Successful Online Career through Freelancing” which was held at the Fatima Block Auditorium, Female Campus.
The objectives of the seminar were introduction of freelancing, launching online career, upwork account setup, defining your niche market, writing a job winning bio, selection of hourly rate, navigating the upwork platform.
Dr. Summaya ChughtaI, In-Charge Female Campus (IIUI) joined the seminar as chief guest. Addressing the seminar participants, On this occasion, Dr. Summaya urged students to enhance their capabilities through digital marketing learning for building online business development and briefed various examples of in freelancing career development.
The Resource Person of the seminar, Dr. Mehwish Majeed, lecturer at the Faculty of Management Sciences, International Islamic University (IIUI) having experience of more than ten years at up work and other freelancing platforms delivered a comprehensive lecture among participants. She is among very few freelancers with a 5-star ranking at up work. She has successfully delivered more than 100 freelancing projects to international clients.
This seminar was organized by In-Charge career counseling center Dr. Mamoona Ismail Loona in collaboration with student advisor office which was attended by Faculty members of different departments and huge number of students. At the end of seminar Dr. Summaya Chughtai, In-Charge, Female Campus present a souvenir to the resource person of the seminar.
