BOSNIAN AMBASSADOR CALLS ON IIUI PRESIDENT

bosniaH.E.Nedim Makarevic, the Bosnia & Herzegovina Ambassador to Pakistan, called on Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) at his office on Friday.

During the meeting at Faisal Masjid campus of the university, issues of mutual interest and matters pertaining to the improvements in the field of education came under discussion.

The Ambassador hailed IIUI for its role in nurturing the youths of Muslim world in the light of Islamic teachings. He also appreciated the activities arranged by IIUI for the dissemination of Islam’s message of peace.

Dr. Al-Draiweesh apprised the ambassador about the university, its faculties, institutes, academies and recently arranged conferences and seminars. He said that IIUI is keen to expand its educational ties with all the institutions of world and especially with the varsities of Islamic world. He also told the Ambassadorbosnia 2 regarding the recent MoUs of IIUI, while he also briefed about the foreign students and faculties members at the university.

On the occasion, both the officials agreed the steps for expanding mutual cooperation would be taken and further meetings in this regard would be held.

At the end, a university crest was present to the Ambassador by the President IIUI.
