In connection with IIUI Extravaganza 2022, Arabic Literary Festival held at the female campus of International Islamic university (IIU).The Faculty of Arabic, Faculty of Shariah & Law and Faculty of Usuluddin (Islamic Studies) of the university organized this event at female campus.
A large number of faculty members and students from faculties especially Arab students studying at campus attended the Arabic Literary Festival. Speakers opined that such festivals are important platforms for growth of youngsters as they can showcase their hidden talents publicly.
Event programs included, Husn-e-Qirat & Naat Competition inter-faculties of IIUI were arranged in which female students actively participated and showcased their talents incredibly before the audiences.
At the female campus Dr. Faryal Anbreen, In-Charge, Dawah Center for Women (DCW), IIUI was Chief Guest of the event. Addressing the participants Dr. Faryal shed light on vision of the IIUI leadership for organizing a huge activity for students at campus during the month and hoped that such events will continue in future at campus and students have a great opportunity to showcase their talents by participating indifferent literary programs. She emphasized the importance of Arabic learning as well on this occasion. Dr. Salma, Mrs. Beenish Iftikhar, Mrs.Taimiya Sabiha from Faculty of Arabic conducted the Arabic Declamation& Essay Writing Competitions on the occasion.
Dr. Zaitoon Baigum, former Director Female Campus and former Dean of Faculty of Arabic was guest of honour in this event, she highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities during students life in addition to the academic activities. Arab students from different departments particularly from Faculties of Arabic, Ussuluddin and Shariah & Law participated in these events.
