Ali Nawaz Awan, Special Minister to Prime Minister, Capital Development Authority Affairs Thursday called on President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) H.E. Dr. Hathal HOmoud Al-Otaibi at his office here at new campus.
During the meeting, issues of mutual interests including initiatives for promotion of quality education and role of universities in societies building were discussed. The meeting was also attended by Vice President, AF&P,IIUI, Dr. N.B. Jumani and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr. Samina Malik.
IIUI President briefed SAPM on university’s future plans and strategy for academic excellence and development of infrastructure. IIUI President said that provision of best infrastructure and maximum facilities for ideal learning milieu is top priority.
On the occasion, Ali Nawaz Awan congratulated Dr. Hathal on assuming duties as IIUI’s President and wished him luck for achieving the set goals. While appreciating the role of IIUI in society building and services, he assured of maximum support to IIUI. He said universities are the vital institutions as they construct societies by producing best human resource.
