Carrying out comprehensive digitization in the affairs of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and in the light of vision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President, the Hostel Administration, in hands with IT team of the University, arranged an inaugural ceremony of “Hostel Automation Project” held at Faisal Masjid Campus of the Univeristy. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Ahmad Yousif A. Al-Draiweesh, President IIUI while Prof. Dr. Muhammad Munir, Vice President (AF&P), Prof. Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Vice President HS&R, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Bashir, Dean Faculty of Arabic, IIUI, Advisor to President along with other esteemed participants were also present in the ceremony.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh, congratulated the administration of hostels and IT team on successfully launching of online hostel management system for students of the University on this occasion. He said the University Administration is trying best to achieve milestones following the latest technology so that students may be facilitated without any kind of lethargic procedures during their stay at the University.
Mr. Zulqurnain Hashmi, Head IT, IIUI briefed the members about overall progress of realizing automation in University. While inaugurating the project, President IIUI expressed pleasure and conveyed thankfulness to the team of hostel administration and IT for their relentless efforts to accomplish this project.
Mr. Muhammad Shoaib Abdullah, Provost Men’s Hostel during the ceremony, thanked for the continuous support and guidance provided by higher management and shed light on the peculiar achievements regarding automation project along with its favorable implications on hostel’s finance and operations. He further explained how new system will facilitate the students systematically. Hel also acknowledged the efforts of IT team and Mr. Muhammad Suleman Afzal, Deputy Provost, Men’s Hostel and all relevant Officials.
