Introduction to Career Counseling Centre

The Career Counseling shall work under the supervision of the Incharge Career Counseling Centre (Female Campus) to effectively ensure compliance on the directions of the Directorate of Student Affairs and Vice President (Female Campus) to provide suitable career counseling to university students. Career Counseling Centre will assist students throughout their stay at the institution by providing appropriate assistance at each stage of the career development. This process will begin with career counseling designed to help students develop the self-knowledge and awareness of options needed to select a tentative career direction. Students will be guided in thinking about their interests, values, competencies, and personal characteristics. Through conversation and exercises, students will discover their previously unidentified interests. Standardized assessment instruments such as the Strong Interest Inventory, the Self-Directed Search, or other instruments designed to clarify career interests, values, personality, or self-identified skills will be administered. Career Counseling Centre will encourage students to engage in self-discovery, participate in experiential learning, build professional connections, and demonstrate career readiness.
