This degree is aimed to offer students a wide range of skills and knowledge in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Audit, Internal Audit, and Strategic Financial Management. Career prospects (corporate sector)

This MS (Accounting and Finance) is designed for career entry and development in large audit and consultancy firms, commercial banks, investments banks, financial institutions, and other large firms in service, retail, information technology, and manufacturing sectors. It will also prepare graduates to take up teaching and research positions in Accounting and Finance in top Higher Educational institutions. There is a broad and extensive labor market for graduates of the Master’s in Accounting and Finance. The programme provides a strong foundation for top financial management roles such as CFO or finance director, as well as for positions such as financial or business controller, financial or business analyst, financial or treasury manager, finance business partner, and other accounting and finance functions.

The specialization in Finance provides a strong foundation for corporate finance roles in financial management. In addition, you will be able to apply, with confidence, for advisory or financial analyst roles in investment banking, corporate transaction and financing advisory services, or financial business consulting, credit analysis, and buy-side or sell-side research roles.

The specialization in Accounting provides a strong foundation for controller and business partnering roles in financial management. In addition, you will be able to apply, with confidence, for positions in business development, management consulting, and other managerial advisory functions. The specialization is also of interest for CA’s, ACCA’s and/or other functions working with auditing in-house or in a consulting capacity.
