Dr. Munazza Yaqoob and Ms. Sofia Hussain edited a book called Muslim Women Writers of the Subcontinent (1870 -1950) (2014) which “is an attempt to provide a brief overview of the contribution made by Muslim women novelists, poets, and prose writers in the Subcontinent’s literary scene of the time period from 1870 to 1950.”
