MS Education (Educational Leadership and Management)
This program of the department of education has been started with the vision of conduction of research studies on educational theories & practices, contemporary issues & problems of education and challenges & opportunities of the future and for contributions in the expansion of Knowledge.
Mission of the M.S program of IIU is the provision of challenging learning environment infused with Islamic and research based practices for the production of balanced and harmonious educational leaders who can be proactively involved in innovation, research and development of national and international community.

The main purpose of this program is to help educational professionals to pursue original research that contribute to the field of education, share experiences and build academic acquaintance with the education community. So the target population of the program is those hardworking graduates having an urge for research, potential for caring out true research and wishing to act as future education leaders.

Program consists of 30 credit hours (06 credit hours for research, 15 credit hours for five compulsory courses and 09 credit hours for three specialization courses) and 03 noncredit courses
Objectives of the Program
  1. To train the M.S students to become an independent academic researcher who is able to perform research according to international standards
  2. To prepare students with strong observational, analytical, synthesis and evaluation skills
  3. To acquire and expand practical skills necessary for execution of research
  4. To enable them to participate in international debates
  5. To prepare them for integration of professionalism in their field of work
  6. To enable them to gain in-depth knowledge

Passing of all the courses along completion of research (thesis) and passing of Hifz test
