A special meeting was held to review the administrative and legal framework for the Nisar Fatima Institute for Seerah and Women Studies, aimed at finalizing arrangements for its operationalization.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President (R&D), International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). Among the participants was Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq, Vice Chancellor, University of Narowal, along with Director HR Mr. Hassan Aftab, and Mr. Muhammad Adnan Khan, Acting Director (P&D).
During the meeting, it was reaffirmed that the Nisar Fatima Institute for Seerah and Women Studies will function as a constituent unit of IIUI, focusing on academic and research initiatives related to Seerah studies and women studies.
Participants also reviewed the lease agreement related to the institute, particularly in connection with coordination with the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Various administrative, legal, and financial aspects were discussed to ensure smooth progress toward the institute’s establishment.
