International Islamic University Islamabad organized an enlightening orientation session titled “Istaqbal-e-Ramadhan” at the Student Facilitation Centre on February 16, 2026. The program was arranged by the Dawah Centre for Women, Dawah Academy, in collaboration with the Additional Director Academics & Examinations, Ms Nousheen Syed.
The session witnessed the participation of around 50 students and staff members, who attended with keen interest and appreciation for the spiritually enriching initiative aimed at preparing for the holy month of Ramadhan.

Addressing the participants, Ms Nousheen Syed underscored the significance of Ramadhan as a month of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and increased devotion. She encouraged attendees to make the most of the blessed month by strengthening their connection with Allah through worship and positive personal transformation.
Dr. Faryal Umbreen, in her address, described Ramadhan as a precious opportunity for believers to strive for Jannat through sincere efforts and self-accountability (Muhasabah). She urged participants to reflect upon their actions, reform weaknesses, and enhance their character in the light of Islamic teachings.
During the session, it was also announced that a special Ramadhan course will be conducted from Monday to Wednesday at the Waiting Area of the Student Facilitation Centre to facilitate female staff and students in gaining a deeper understanding of the Qur’an and the spirit of Ramadhan.
The program concluded with collective prayers and a renewed commitment among attendees to welcome Ramadhan with devotion, self-improvement, and spiritual preparedness.
