ISLAMABAD: President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, called on the newly appointed Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, to felicitate him on assuming charge. Vice President (Research & Enterprise), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the IIUI leadership greeted the Chairman and conveyed their good wishes for the important responsibilities ahead. They appreciated his distinguished services to the higher education sector, particularly his contributions in the capacity of Vice Chancellor at several universities across Pakistan, and expressed the hope that under his leadership, HEC and universities in Pakistan would continue to make significant progress.
The meeting concluded with mutual goodwill and a shared resolve to further strengthen higher education and research in the country.
