An informative orientation session for newly admitted students of the Faculty of Management Sciences for Spring Semester 2026 was held at the Auditorium of Faculty Block-II, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
The session commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem of Pakistan. Students Advisor , Dr. Ghufran, delivered the welcome address, extending warm greetings to the freshmen and briefing them on important academic and administrative aspects of the university to facilitate their academic journey at IIUI.
Addressing the students, Dr. Ghufran termed their admission to IIUI as a turning point in their lives and urged them to utilize this opportunity to achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals. He highlighted various administrative, academic, curricular, and extracurricular policies of the university to help students smoothly navigate their four-year academic journey.
He also emphasized the importance of students’ participation in sports and extracurricular activities, describing them as essential for maintaining mental and physical well-being. He encouraged students to adopt a positive mindset and pursue their academic goals with dedication, hard work, commitment, teamwork, and creativity.
Dr. Ghufran further underlined the importance of upholding high moral and ethical values while benefiting from the university’s resources and support systems.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Abdul Zahid Khan, followed by a group photograph of newly admitted students with faculty members and officials of the Directorate of Students Affairs (Male).
