ASME IIUI Secures 3rd Position at NUST EFx-2025 Oral Technical Competition

The ASME Chapter of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) achieved a notable distinction as its representative secured 3rd position at the NUST H-12 ASME EFx-2025 event. The achievement highlights the chapter’s commitment to fostering technical excellence and encouraging student participation in national engineering competitions.

Khayyam Ayub, Section President of ASME IIUI and a student of the BS Mechanical Engineering (F-22 Session), represented the university in the Oral Technical Competition. Competing among participants from leading institutions, he earned an impressive 3rd position along with a $200 award. His performance reflected strong technical capability, confidence in presentation, and innovative insight.

The ASME-IIUI Chapter acknowledged the consistent guidance of Dr. Engr. Asad Asghar Janjua, Lecturer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Faculty Supervisor of the chapter. His support and mentorship have played a vital role in motivating students to excel and participate in national and international platforms.
