
A delegation led by Mufti Abdul Rahim, Chancellor of Al-Ghazali University, Patron-in-Chief of Jamia Tur Rasheed, President of Majma Al Uloom Al Islamia (a national Madaris examination board), and Member of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), called on Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President IIUI, at the university’s New Campus.
The delegation also included Molana Dr. Wali Khan Al-Muzaffar, Advisor to the Chancellor, and Engr. Mufti Usman Yousuf, Member of the Board of Governors of Al-Ghazali University. Justice Syed Muhammad Anwar, Judge of the Federal Shariat Court and Member of the IIUI Board of Governors, also attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on academic collaboration, unity, and reform-oriented educational initiatives aimed at serving Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah. Discussions highlighted the role of universities in promoting Islam’s message of peace, tolerance, inclusiveness, and love for humanity, grounded in the Kitab and Sunnah. It was specifically noted that IIUI continues to play a vital role in fostering dialogue, mutual understanding, and the dissemination of Islam’s universal message of peace, moderation, and service to humanity for the collective benefit of the Muslim Ummah.
Mufti Abdul Rahim extended an invitation to the IIUI President to visit Al-Ghazali University and Jamia Tur Rasheed, which he graciously accepted, expressing hope that such engagements will further reinforce shared educational and reform-oriented objectives.
