The Faculty of Sciences (FoS), International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), organized a Sports Certificates Distribution Ceremony for participants of the 2025 Sports Gala at the Faculty Seminar Room.
The ceremony was attended by Dean, Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad; Director Students Affairs, Dr. Hafiz Ghufran Ahmad; and Faculty Sports Focal Person, Dr. Bashir Ahmad.
The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the distribution of certificates among students. Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad underscored the constructive role of sports in students’ development and stressed the need for active participation in physical activities. Dr. Hafiz Ghufran Ahmad highlighted the significance of balancing academics with sports and advised students to use physical activities as a means to foster positive thinking and reduce excessive reliance on social media.
The Faculty of Sciences, which had secured the overall Best Faculty Trophy at the Sports Gala, presented the trophy to the Dean’s office as a gesture of appreciation.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Bashir Ahmad and a group photograph of participants with faculty members.
